Berlin Graffiti II

It's time for more Berlin Graffiti. This is what was outside my hostel window. I don't know what this translates too. So if it is offensive.... I apologize.
Ahhh. 1984.
What I really like about this stencil is that the boards form stripes that go along with the stipes on the shirt. Brilliant.
I don't know who Lucy is... but I feel bad for whoever has to answer to her. She looks fed up.

More Tiergarden

This is the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin. It is on the east side of the Tiergarden. It's a bunch of blocks all set up in a grid. From the outside it does'nt look like they are very tall.
But once you get in them it's a miniature NYC. It actually kind of fun to walk through. It reminds me of a corn field.
Inside there were a bunch of kids sneaking around and jumping out at and scaring their friends. Oh... to be young and in Berlin.

Berlin Round About

I took this video in Berlin on the top of a really high monument. It's really peaceful to me for some reason. I just like all the curves and movement.

It's the Berlin Victory Column or the Siegessäule. It was designed by Heinrich Strack after 1864 (the same time as the end of the American Civil War) to commemorate thePrussian victory in the Danish-Prussian War, by the time it was inaugurated on September 2nd 1873 Prussia had also defeated Austria in the Austro-Prussian War (1866) and France in the Franco-Prussian War (1870/1871), giving the statue a new purpose. (That's a lot of wars) Different from the original plans, these later victories in the so-called Unification Wars inspired the addition of the bronze sculpture of Victoria, 8.3 meters high and weighing 35 tonnes, designed by Friedrich Drake.
This mural on the inside is very stoic.
